Last full week of April 2013

 Creating really cool drawings on the magna doodle

 Golfish & yogurt raisins afterschool - Little One is tired here - 10min. nap doesn't cut it.

Started teaching Smudges in the county schools this week.  Kids like the artwork b/c they get to play with model magic.  Incorporating science into the lesson this time - living/nonliving things in a swamp.

 

And I am 13 weeks pregnant.

 

So life is very uncertain. That's for sure.

Except my mail isn't working properly so I can't get pics off my phone unless I put them on facebook.  Boo.

Our weekend at the beach

The party was too cute. 

This weekend we went to the beach to celebrate Kayde's 1st birthday!  Friday night we drove straight to one of our favorite restaurants (Guadalajara) because we were hungry!!

This was my view!  Ha.  The food was yummy.  We ate lots of chips and salsa.  It was more authentic Mexican food and the atmosphere made us feel like we were back in Texas.

We weren't brave enough this morning to walk on the beach.  It was cold!


We drove back this afternoon after the party.  Austin doesn't eat much at parties.  He's more interested in playing.  Here's his dinner tonight.

At the beginning of dinner it was all in the green bowl.  He used a spoon and fork.  Then he got full and dumped it all out.  We picked it up together and all is well.

Lots of our after school activities this week

have been low key.

Little man is only sleeping 30ish minutes for nap

this week which makes him SO grumpy

in the afternoon/night.

What are we to do but to put him to bed early?!

Saturday afternoon after we ate at Cactus Flower we walked around

Troy's campus.  It was pretty and quiet and was fun to explore.

Austin walked with us until it he got hot and we saw these clouds.

They were swirling.

So we went home

and it started raining when we started the movie.
