Yum

I have been cooking up a storm the last couple of days. Sunday night I made breakfast for dinner. We had eggs, buscuits and sausage. Yesterday I made chicken pot pie, spaghetti sauce and cupcakes. The chicken pot pie was good and easy to make. Shred up chicken, mix with cream of mushroom soup, add some veggies and pop it into the oven for 15 minutes. Take it out and add pillsbury buscuits to the top and put it in for another 15 minutes. Yum. We had salad with it.

My mom always makes fun of me when I tell her we are eating spaghetti but it is just from a jar of spaghetti sauce and cooked noodles. Well, I tried it her way yesterday. I browned meat, added italian seasoning, hunts plain tomato sauce, leftover great value spaghetti sauce, chopped up an onion and tomato and let it simmer for a while. I am going to have it for dinner tonight while I am working at The Scrapbook Barn. I made a lot so this way we can have it all week if we want. Keith and I love spaghetti...and we love to eat.

I have been eyeing cupcake bakeries that are popping up around town. There is a cute one opening up in Dallas Sprinkles Cupcakes and it looks so good. $5 for a cupcake...they better be good. I had cake mix and have been wanting to make some, so I did. And now I have like 15 cupcakes at my house waiting to be eaten with chocolate frosting. Yum.

My parents are coming the weekend of mother's day for Keith's graduation and my birthday. She told me if there was anything I wanted for my birthday and I told her I was looking forward to going out to eat with them. I call my parents a lot and most of the time they are about to go out to eat...at one of my favorite restaurants in Dothan. Mexican Connection, The River Nile, Longhorn...yum.
