If its not one thing it's another

We took Austin to his 3 year appointment today. The dr recommended we start speech therapy so we start that next Monday. Dr also recommended evaluating his development to make sure he's on track but that's not until December.  He also got a flu shot...no flu in this house...not with a new baby. A is going to mothers morning out 2 days a week. We want him to go more than 2 days but we'll take what we can get right now.

Baby girl was moving all around when we checked the heartbeat Wednesday. Dr said with everything going on they might schedule her to come before her Oct 27 due date. I had Braxton Hicks contractions all day on Tuesday for the first time in both pregnancies. Must get things put together & house straightened up for her arrival. We are thinking of naming her

Although her middle name might change...we'll see.

Wednesday

This morning I treated myself to a Skinny Vanilla Latte & a blueberry muffin at Starbucks in Target.
I also got a sparkly tank top on sale.
I got things ready for Arty Pants.
I hope little ones and their parents come because we have cute things to make!
A & I went to the playground for a few minutes after MMO because the weather is so nice.
Hoping  for a good nap for him then it's church time.
Looking forward the the Finale of Big Brother 14 tonight!

Yesterday I turned in my paperwork to get certified in AL.
I also applied for a job, but that's nothing new.
I've applied for many 'o job in my town's school system and nothing.
Crickets. Beuller. 
Hello? Don't they know I was a fun, great art teacher who loves teaching? Hello? Anybody?
Yeah...We'll see.

I thought I would go to the library.

But I didn't.

I decided to drop off the book instead.

Monday Morning

A woke up at 7:30a.m.. this morning.
We changed diapers and out of pajamas
Cartoons, milk, banana
Coffee made & lunch packed
We talked about school today
We talked about being a sweet boy
We talked about the big truck next to us on the way to school
We prayed for our day and our friends starting school in Dallas.
We put shoes & socks on in car (he won't leave them on for the ride)
We walked into his classroom
Tears
Hopefully only for a few minutes
Because I know snack is very soon
And he usually loves snack


A had a "great day" at school!
And a 'good day' at church yesterday!

Weird Wednesday

what a weird day
we slept until 8 because A was at L&G's
didn't have to take him to MMO b/c L did that
went to Zumba, then Kmart, then back home
had lunch at home - hot ham & cheese with guac on it
A took a LONG nap - L&G and MMO wear him out!
made myself clean and straighten up our room! finally!
K is playing golf
no Bible study tonight
didn't want meatloaf at church
Panera it is...I think.

usually we're up eating breakfast and going to MMO & Zumba by 8:25
usually A is up and we're trying to find something to do in the afternoon
usually K has a long day and doesn't play golf
usually A and I eat dinner at church

but none of that happened today

Time and new things

Thank you Jesus, A is playing in his room longer independently.
For Mother's Morning Out I have 2.5 hours 2 mornings a week and 2ish hours during nap

So I'm trying new things like:

TheBroccoliHut's Over night oats - I like that it's good for me.  Didn't really like the taste, but I ate it all.  Will have to experiment with different flavors.

IowaGirlEat's breakfast tacos - We had a couple today for lunch.  The inside was good, but the tortilla wasn't tasty.  I need some Mexican ladies to make some from scratch!

NatSprat's Felt Owl - It didn't come out as cute as this one, but I think Savy liked it.  You should've seen her eyes!  I need to learn to sew.

Noodle and Doodle's Granola Bars - Yeah these were so sweet I had to thow them away. All of the brown sugar and honey mixed with pnut butter. Whew!

In an effort to find different activities during the week A and I went to the indoor pool last week during his spring break.  Their pool is. not. heated.  We sat on the side to get our legs used to the temp.  Then A was splashing so much I decided we should just get in.  We splashed and watched others and then his lips started shivering so we got out and watched kids jump off the diving board.

Thank you Jesus, we went to Publix and A got into the car cart.  He was having fun. I got what I needed. We checked out. I put my groceries in the car and he did. not. want. to. get. out!  What? I go to the grocery store and usually he is complaining most of the time!  Thank you Jesus!

A's spring break

Monday: play in my pj's until 10, run errands with Mama, see Lecee, take a nap, eat a snack, get a cherry limeade with Mama, go see L&G, eat dinner because Dad's home, get ready for bed!

Tuesday: eat breakfast, watch Super Why Guy, play in my room, go with Mama to pay bills, play Ball at the ROC, go with Lecee to Walmart, eat & nap, swim at the indoor pool, eat tacos with my parents, play outside with Dad, sit in my own chair and eat some of Mama's fro yo, find Elmo in BooksAMillion, bedtime!

Wednesday:  eat breakfast and watch Super Why Guy, get ready and go to Lecee's while Mama is zumbaing, nap and play more, go to post office, dinner and Bible study at church, play with Dad, bedtime!

Thursday:  eat breakfast, play, get hot glue gun from Lecee's house, hurry up and get felt from Hobby Lobby, nap while Mama makes an owl for Savy, eat a banana, run to walmart, get ready for Hairspray, go to Lecee's for the night!

Friday! get ready and go to the beach!  My cousin's Savannah has her birthday party tomorrow! Happy 3rd Birthday Savannah!!

Friday.

Last night A spent the night with his L & G.

K and I went to FireHouse Pizza, the library and got frozen yogurt that we didn't have to share with a little one. Ha.  We walked out of the library last night and K said, "I think this book may change my life."  A book about German Philosophy.  Ha.

K got up this morning and I made coffee for him.  He headed off to play his favorite game and I picked up Mr. A.  He woke up early and ate breakfast at Cracker Barrel with L & G.

We got home and he is taking an early nap.  He's always worn out when he goes to L & G's house.

Laundry is done, Dishes are clean but need to be put up, Towels are ready to be folded.

Packages to K's parents, grandparents, and Winnetka are ready to be mailed.

Tomorrow we plan on going to the museum's family day and the BBQ Festival.  For K's sake I hope someone has really good brisket and sausage.  This TX boy is in dire need of brisket.  Thank the Lord for fun things to do here.  They are few and far between.

Speaking of things to do: A has Spring Break next week so I will be on the lookout for new, fun things to do with him.
