Hubby's Lunch Day 2

• Chobani Blueberry Yogurt
• Apple Slices
• Snack sized Jiff To Go peanut butter
• Campbell's Tortilla Soup
• Granola Bar
• Trail mix, no m&m's

I had a whirlwind morning taking care of our dogs.  Since we've moved to AL our relationship with our dogs has been different.  Now A is thrown into the mix, we're in a different house, etc...we're trying to get back to our family of 5.  Whew. 

And then someone woke up from his nap way too EARLY:

So I made a palet for him and he's watching a movie.

Just Some Stuff

We had a really crazy lightning storm Monday night.  I don't think I've ever seen that much lightning.  Our dog Wellington is afraid of storms.  He starts shaking, panting, and cowers in a corner if he's not in his bed.  I really like it when it rains hard because I don't have to water my flowers.  It seems like I'm having to water twice a day now.

Like right now thunder is THUNDERING and thankfully it hasn't woken up A.  Wellington, however has knocked over the iron by freaking out in his bed.  Sheesh.

Little Man played really well this morning which makes for a great morning all around.  We stayed at home most of the morning, but took a drive to get gas, take recycling and watch the big water slide at Water World before lunch.  Little Man is really loving chicken nuggets for lunch.  I'm afraid he's going to be a big eater like his Daddy.  If we could just get him to eat anything...now that would be awesome.

I am looking into jobs for the fall with our school system here.  Hoping and lots of praying something great will work out like it did here.

 We got this 3 wheeler at Goodwill for $9.99.  They are both so cute!!

 A and Welly have become good friends.

 We went to the Bass Pro Shop in Destin and really enjoyed the big fish tank.

 Oh yeah, sometimes he doesn't like going out to eat.  That whole sit down and enjoy yourself...it's not for him.

We've been here 3 weeks!

K is off today!

A and I went to breakfast with my parents at 7:30 this morning...what?

K slept in.

Since we didn't go to the beach :( K went to work for a few hours and my mom and I went to the farmer's market. They had homemade bread, casseroles, pottery.

A took a nap & I relaxed.

K came home and we went to Longhorn then my Dad's office to fax something for insurance. Then K decided he wanted to go to Georgia just because he said he'd been. So we drove for a while and A was getting fussy. We crossed the GA line and drove down a street of a very tiny town. There was dark smoke in the distance but we didnt' want to investigate.

We stopped and got a caramel frappe from McDonalds.

I dropped the boys off and went to Walgreens to drop off a prescription.

We hung out at the house, then took a walk.

The dogs needed food so we took Welly to PetSmart. He got a stuffed elephant and was so proud and happy. He was prancing and people were laughing in delight over him.

We got home and I gave A a bath. He never took an afternoon nap so he was pretty tired.

A had milk and went to bed.

My mom cooked dinner and K and I ate later since we had the Frappe's.

My dad and K are watching football - as I'm sure will be happening a lot this fall.

My mom is in the kitchen and I am in A's room. It's cool up here and we get a good signal. I also like hearing him sleep. He's so sweet.

A likes to crawl to the dog's crate and open and close the door. He could do that for a long time!

After A played and I cleaned the kitchen we went shopping and got a new bathing suit and a Father's Day present. All three of us went out to lunch and to the library, but A fell asleep in the car so we didn't go in - just took some books back. A went for a walk with dad and Wells tonight and I went to the grocery store. We were both getting cabin fever. Today was the first day it reached 100 degrees. Tonight we sat on the couch and watched the Bachelorette, read Goodnight Gorilla, said Good night to A.

I just took a walk with A , K, and W. We went up the street, to the ele. school, down through another neighborhood and back to our house. Whew...I'm looking forward to all those days in the pool this summer. It's hot out there!

Today A got up at 7:45

I went Walmart to get diapers and things.

I picked up Schlotzsky's for lunch.

We watched basketball, picked up some, and took a walk.

We went to the lake with K and the dogs...enjoying the weather while its not scorching hot. Little A is sitting low but doing great!

Keith is the one behind the hose...it felt pretty good....nothing like family fun in your own backyard.

We had a picnic at the lake again this weekend. We drive to the lake with Quiznos in hand. We eat on the back of the car. We watch the dogs run around free...watch Wellington swim in the water. Wellington loves it. He's very entertaining!

The one where boys will be boys.

The night before K started all of his classes he and the Wells had a burst of energy. You see how it turned out - right above his eye and right below. K was spinning Wellington around and around until he got the eye. All is well, though.

The one where we turn around and head for the car.

It was great weather today. We've always wanted to walk this trail, but after seeing all of these signs it wasn't that important to us anymore.

I think he lost a few pounds of hair. We thought we could trim him with scissors, but his hair was in knots! We took him over to PetSmart and he looks so cute!
