Spring Break 2013

K and I celebrated his spring break by going to the beach.  A got to stay with his Lecee & G.

Tuesday we had a picnic dinner on the beach and I found some shells.

Wednesday I spent the afternoon with Aunt Darlyne and K got to play at a very nice golf course.  We had lunch and got our nails done then went out to eat with our boys.  YUM!  It was a fun day!  We ate at Fatty Patty's for Lunch and Saltwater Grill for Dinner.

Thursday we didn't do much of anything.  We ordered breakfast from Fatty Patty's then ordered dinner from Billy's and watched basketball in between.

Friday we got up and drove to Destin to get K fitted for a tux.  I tried on some dresses, too.

Then we drove home & got to see our little guy!

We missed him so much, but enjoyed sleeping late.

 

 

Braves vs. Dodgers Aug. 17th

 We got to the stadium at 4:45 and waited in line.
The game started at 7.

 This is K at our seats.

 The Dodgers warmed up infront of us.  This is Belisario, a pitcher.  He pitched at this game.

 This is Matt Traener, Misty May-Traener's hubby.  He used to play for the TX Rangers.

 Traener's a catcher.  We cracked up watching him warm up.  Is he doing Zumba?

He waved at me.

 This is Traener's throwing partner.  He was the starting pitcher.  Thankfully Traener caught everyone and didn't hit me in the head.

 This is Kemp.   K says he's one of the best players in the MLB.

 This was our security guard.  We were curious about those sunglasses.

 This is Chipper's last season.  He hit his 2,701 hit...a homerun!

In the 11th inning when one of the Braves hit the winning run everyone ran out onto the field and celebrated.  We did, too, because it was late and we were ready for fireworks.

Today is the day

This morning I got up, took care of A, and put on clothes like I was going somewhere.  I went to DCS and took a few tests, filled out forms to see if it will lead to anything in my teaching future...

A went to school for the first time in a while since we've been on vacation - beach, texas, beach and more beach

He was the only one in his class so he got some extra attention and learned about the color purple.  He had so much fun he fell asleep on the way home.

My mom made these arrangements for our outgoing Music Minister's party last night.

Memorial Day Race

It's so good have Daddy home.  We love days off.  He loves a chase!

This morning I added cinnamon, sugar & butter to biscuits and we sipped on coffee.
Later we had a yummy smoothie and went for a drive.
It's nap time & our Memorial Day is going well.

We just got back from a 2 week vacation.

K went to Yale while A & I stayed at the beach and then all of us went to Austin and then we came back and stayed at the beach for a few days.  Get all that?

It's good to be home but our house is a mess.

K's dad's pizza on the Green Egg was yummy.  They picked it up from Papa Murphy's then put it on a pizza stone in the green egg.  They got the vegetarian and it was better than Mr. Gatti's.  Yum.
