Yesterday afternoon was a lot of fun. Keith left for preteen camp this morning so we tried to spend a lot of time together yesterday. We went to church and had a great guest preacher - Dr. Albert Moehler from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I walked with Keith to get the rosters. We came home and I cooked lunch. Watermelon, macaroni & cheese, brocolli, biscuits & jelly. Yum. We watched the Rangers game and the U.S. Open all afternoon. I studied a little bit and took an online test. We decided to get out of the house once the Rangers and Angel Cabrera won. We got a pizza and took it to Prestonwood and ate at the pond in the gazebo. We took Wellington and he loved it. It rained Sunday morning so he loved being in the wet grass. We walked around Prestonwood and decided to go on the track at Prestonwood Academy. They have a nice track and football field. It's not real grass so I wanted to touch it. Keith said, "Why don't you run into the end zone and do a little dance like you just scored a touchdown." So I did a little wiggle and asked Keith to do the same thing. He did and I wish I video taped it. Ha!!!!! We came home and packed for camp.
This morning was crazy. 500 kids and their parents loaded 9 buses to go to camp in Stuart, OK. Keith is the bus captain on bus #9. He has a bus full of 4th grade boys - literally. There was one crying, one yelling, and lots ready to go to camp. I watched the buses roll away and I already miss him. Sniff...
Thank you for praying for Keith's leg. It is doing much better.
