Today we painted. I have been scared to paint with my elementary kids, but this week before Thanksgiving we are painting. Today it went very well. I only had a few kids decide finger painting was best for them, but it was their fault if they wanted purple hands the rest of the day. I told them good artists do not get messy.
I got a compliment today from a 1st grade teacher. She walked by and said, You know what? My kids really love art. Not so much last year, but this year they really like it." It's good to hear things like that. :)
