Well Hibbity Hoo and Wallpaper Comes Down

We moved into our house in Grand Prairie and we really like it. There's lots of space. It's just great. One thing that wasn't so great was the wallpaper in our bathroom. Our house was built in the 90's. I was in the 5th grade when this horrible wallpaper was going up. It was coming off the wall a little bit and I knew sometime that we would like to take it off. Well I started peeling it and because of that I have had a project going for 2 weeks now. TAKING DOWN WALLPAPER It's a tedious job my mom said to me before I started. I agree. Keith has helped a little bit but mostly its me during the day tearing that wallpaper down. It comes down great in some spots but I have to scrape and scrape in others. If you have never taken down wallpaper it's pretty easy. Here's what you need:

1. Water
2. Fabric Softener
3. Rag or Sponge
4. Fingernails or tweezers
5. A scraper and scorer from The Home Depot
6. Lots of time and patience

When you get all of these things start getting off the first layer with your hands. Then, when you can't get anymore score it with the scorer all around - the more the better. Wet the wall with the sponge and start scraping till your hand hurts.

We are hoping to paint our bathroom a soft blue like this picture.

Our walls are about that color. Our paint was LoveBird made by Behr.
