One of my students was looking at the newspaper on the table as she was getting ready to paint. She asked, "Why does this say milk?" I looked at it and said, "Oh that's MLK...Martin Luther King. He had a dream."
Speaking of painting...I'm not pulling my hair out this year. We have not painted as much as last year, but I have found a better way to paint with 25 kids. This week I have been splitting them in half 10 painting, 15 doing something else. It's worked pretty good. I don't have paint on the walls, kids going crazy, and me getting mad.
